Culture, Culture, Culture.
A. I would define American culture as a culture that has been created by combining many different cultures over time. It is one of many cultures that is different from other cultures in many ways, yet has similar things to other cultures as well. Two adjectives that I think would describe American culture would be accepting and luxuriant. American culture has many cultures and accepts all of them like Christmas and Hanukah so it is accepting, and it is abundant with many different cultures and ways to celebrate them like Halloween and Valentine’s Day so it is an also luxuriant. These and many more of Americas every day happenings help shape American culture into what it is today.
B. I would define my own culture as a combination of my family’s and county’s culture combined. I would consider my culture and cultural experiences comparing mine to others very unique. I think my culture is unique compared to others because I am Polish, American, Checkoslovockean, Ukrainian, and Albanian therefore I have many different backgrounds so I have many different ways that I celebrate holidays like Christmas and Halloween. Other people that may not have such a large background ,they might just be Irish or Mexican, so they would probably celebrate holidays differently than I do, but that is what American culture is a mix of all different types of cultures including mine.
