Christmas Traditions

Christmas Traditions

Christmas is my favorite time of the year, not only because you get awesome presents, but also because everyone just seems to be happier witch in return makes me happy. I especially enjoy spending time with my family because my brothers are always goofing off and making me laugh, and what can I say I really enjoy laughing.

Every Christmas Day my brother’s, and sister-in-law’s come to my mom’s house and we all open presents, play games, and eat dinner. Almost always everyone will stay supper late because everyone is having so much fun.

When everybody arrives at my mom’s house we open gifts, this year my mom made a game with opening gifts by labeling a large present for someone and then when they open the gift there are actually other presents inside it for other people. This game with the presents can get really confusing even though it is so simple.

After everyone is done opening presents my two brothers’ and I go down in the basement and play Wii, X-Box, or any other games we got for Christmas. My brother’s and I could play for hours and it only feels like a few minutes passed by, then my mom will come down and announce that dinner is ready.

Christmas dinners in my family have to have mini-hot dogs. My family just loves them! My sister-in-law’s don’t eat them very much, but my brothers and I just devour them. But our dinners consist of other foods to of course, we also have Honey Baked Ham, Chicken, Cookies, and other foods as well. But whatever we have for dinner on Christmas is always guaranteed to be delicious.
